SOUTHERN MADE CO. / BUILT IN TASMANIA

Delivery & Collection

Considered details, honest craftsmanship and a practical approach to every project.

Local delivery, collection and installation

Southern Made Co. is based in Southern Tasmania. We can discuss delivery around greater Hobart and regional Tasmania by arrangement. Interstate freight may be considered for items suitable for packaging and transport, but is not automatically offered for all products.

Delivery quotes

Delivery and installation costs depend on the dimensions and weight of your piece, travel distance, access, stairs, handling requirements and any assembly required. Delivery is charged separately unless specifically included in the agreed order or quote. We will confirm the price and scope before work proceeds.

Lead times

Many of our products are made to order. Estimated production and delivery dates will be agreed as part of your order confirmation. If something materially affects the timeframe, we will contact you to discuss it. Your legal rights continue to apply.

Collection

Workshop collection may be arranged once your order is ready. We will provide the collection location and confirm a time. Please don't attend without an appointment.

Access, assembly and installation

Tell us about narrow access, parking restrictions, steep driveways, stairs or other site conditions before accepting delivery. Carry-in, onsite assembly and installation are included only when expressly quoted. Work requiring structural fixing or building compliance will be assessed for the particular site.

Damage or delivery issues

If an order arrives damaged, missing or incorrectly supplied, contact us promptly via our contact form and provide photos where practical. We will assess the issue and make arrangements consistent with the Australian Consumer Law, including collection of heavy or difficult-to-return faulty goods where required.
